The Center against Domestic Violence has been helping women & families for
40 YEARS!
Brooklyn Integrative Health Care is holding its Annual Christmas Drive for The Center against Domestic Violence. We are currently taking donations to help support the many women who seek refuge at Brooklyn’s Battered Women’s Shelter. Domestic violence shelters are so important to help women break free from their horrid conditions and offer a safe environment.
Since women many times leave their homes very quickly without packing we are suggesting Superstore Gift Cards. The gift cards would allow these women to shop for personal items, work attire and home goods. It is a great way to help them with the process of building a new and independent life.
Our goal is to collect $5000 in gift cards so each woman in the shelter can get approximately $200-$300 each.
